Welcome to the Uttarameenakshi Mandir & Gurukulam Project
A Sanctuary of Shakti, Knowledge, and Sādhanā
This divine project, dedicated to Meenakshi Devi, is being established in Jaunpur district, near Varanasi. Born of the goddess’s divine inspiration, the temple is being constructed in northern India under Her celestial guidance.
Meenakshi Devi is calling upon her devotees to create a northern sanctuary for Her sacred presence. This will be the first temple in northern India to be dedicated to Meenakshi Devi as the principal deity. The project is planned to unfold in multiple stages over a three-year period from 2026 to 2028. Phase I will focus on constructing the main temple.
The Bhumi Pujan was completed on October 6, 2025.
जगदम्ब कदम्बमूलवासे, कमलमोदकेंदुमन्दहासे।
